Smartlock Security – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Smartlock Security’s locksmith services, website, and related offerings. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.


1. Services Provided

Smartlock Security provides professional locksmith services, including:

  • Residential, commercial, and automotive lockout services

  • Lock repair, replacement, and installation

  • Smart lock and security hardware installation

  • Key cutting and rekeying services

Service availability may vary based on technician availability and location.


2. Customer Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree that:

  • You are the lawful owner, tenant, or authorized user of the property or vehicle serviced

  • You will provide accurate information during booking

  • You will ensure safe working conditions for our technicians

We may request proof of ownership or authorization before performing service.


3. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices may vary depending on service type, complexity, time of day, or emergency needs

  • A service call or emergency fee may apply

  • Payment is due at the completion of service unless otherwise stated

  • We accept approved forms of payment displayed by our technicians or website

All sales are final unless otherwise specified.


4. Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made before a technician is dispatched

  • If a technician is already en route, a service call fee may still apply


5. Warranty

We offer a limited warranty on:

  • Workmanship for a reasonable period after service

  • Hardware if installed and supplied by Smartlock Security (subject to manufacturer terms)

Warranty does not cover:

  • Misuse, tampering, or unauthorized modifications

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Issues resulting from previously installed or third-party hardware


6. Liability Limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Smartlock Security is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service provided

We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage to locks, doors, frames, or mechanisms

  • Damage resulting from necessary forceful entry during lockouts

  • Losses due to customer failure to secure property after service


7. Emergency & Forceful Entry Services

In certain cases, forced entry may be required. By requesting such service, you acknowledge that:

  • Cosmetic or structural damage may occur

  • Smartlock Security is not responsible for resulting damage unless caused by negligence


8. Use of Website

You agree not to:

  • Misuse or attempt to disrupt website functionality

  • Copy or distribute content without permission

All website content is owned by Smartlock Security.


9. Appointment Windows

Arrival times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or emergencies.


10. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service for unsafe conditions, fraudulent activity, or abusive behavior.


11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted with an updated date.
